LATCH child restraint system

Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) is a national standard mandating the location of attachment points—two lower anchors and a top tether—to ensure that virtually all modern child seats can be easily secured in the rear seat of a vehicle. For more information, contact your dealer to get in-person assistance to set up LATCH in your Audi.

Audi does offer a retrofit program for child restraint tethers for certain model year vehicles. Please contact your local authorized Audi dealer for more information.

LATCH is an acronym which stands for "Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children". For LATCH information, please visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA.gov) website.

Audi offers its authorized dealers a training program specifically tailored to the LATCH system. Please contact your local authorized Audi dealer to determine if they are certified, and if so, schedule an inspection.

Homelink is a three-button system used to control garage doors, gates, and lights in your home. HomeLink can be programmed with up to three radio frequency codes for most current transmitters.

To program HomeLink, turn the ignition on, but do not start the engine. Press and hold the outside two buttons until the LED flashes, then press and hold the button you would like to program until the LED flashes slowly. Now exit the vehicle and point the remote control at the front grille of the vehicle or front driver side bumper, hold the remote control at a distance up to 12 inches from the bumper. When it has successfully completed setup, the emergency flashers will flash.
