Your myAudi PIN is used to link your vehicle with your myAudi account. The PIN is found inside your online myAudi account or MMI Connect app. With successful entry of the myAudi PIN you will be able to use features like sending destinations to the vehicle and personalize certain myAudi services (if applicable).

Audi connect is a subscription based services. If you experience an outage with your services first confirm that your subscription is up to date by logging into your account on www.myaudiconnect.com. If assistance is required accessing this account you may reach our billing and subscription team at + 1 877 505 2834. If you confirm the subscription is active but services are still not working there are several troubleshooting steps which may correct the issue and resume services. Please consult your owner’s manual for direction, or if further assistance is needed you may reach our Audi Customer Experience Center at + 1 800 822 2834.

These steps can be followed to enable your Wi-Fi so you can connect as you would to any hotspot: 

Select the Menu button, telephone, right control button, and then Wi-Fi settings. Make sure Wi-Fi is set to on.

These steps can be followed to pair your cellular device with the Bluetooth. Make sure your vehicle is on and your cellular device is discoverable. Click Telephone, Connect Mobile Device, and then Find New Device. Select and confirm the desired cellular device from the list of displayed Bluetooth devices. The last step is to confirm the PIN on your mobile device.

There are two reasons that you may be unable to display lock or unlock:

1. The vehicle isn’t equipped with a telematics module. You can find out if this is the case by checking if there is a eCall button and/or status light in in the overhead console in front of the rear view mirror.

2. You may not be currently set up as the Key User (or approved secondary user) for the vehicle.

Key User services help you view real-time status updates on your vehicle, set alerts for speed limits and geo-fencing violations, as well as locking and unlocking the vehicle through your smart phone. For security purposes, registration is required. To start, create a myAudi account through the www.audiusa.com/myaudi website. Once logged in, select the “Audi connect® services” icon. Once on "Audi connect®", in the upper left hand corner menu, select “Audi connect® User management”. Follow the instructions to create a Key User Agreement.  An Audi dealership must verify your Key User Agreement. Once verified, scratch off the portion of your key tag to reveal your ten digit vehicle code. Enter the code into the vehicle along with your username (e-mail address). After successful login, you will become set as Key User in your vehicle and be able to use Key User services via your MMI® connect app and/or online myAudi account.

For Audi Gen2 owners (2020 and earlier models): Wi-Fi settings can be found under the "Audi connect®" menu or the connection manager.

For Audi Gen3 owners (2021+ models): WiFi settings can be found under "Settings" > "Connection Settings" > "Wi-Fi" >"Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings".
